A large number of dishes on the platter on the occasion of Holi,the Indian festival of Colours and food, is common in every house.

Here’s four dishes made by me; the first is a sweet snack made up of white flour, the second isthe spicy ‘Chaat’: India’s favourite street food, then the dessert ‘Besan-laddu’; sweet balls of Besan (Gram Flour). The last picture is of ‘Dahi-Vada’, that’s the most common recipe of every Indian house on Holi, made up of Curd and Urad-Daal.
